Frequently Asked Questions


For your convenience, we have prepared a list of frequently asked questions. Please review this list. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us.

1. How much does the course cost?

The cost of the Working At Heights course is $200.00 plus tax. The total is $226.00. If you have five or more people, the cost per person is $170.00 plus tax (totalling $192.10).

The cost of the Forklift course is $220.00 plus tax. The total is $248.60. For multiple people, call for specific pricing.

2. How long does the course take?

The Ministry of Labour has mandated that the Working At Heights course be a minimum of one full day (approximately 6.5 hours plus breaks and a half-hour lunch). Be aware that lunch is not provided and will not be extended.

The Forklift course typically runs from 8:00 AM to 3:30-4:30 PM, depending on class size.

3. What does the course cover?

The Ministry of Labour has mandated that the Working At Heights course be a minimum of 3 hours of theory (eliminating or controlling hazards, legislative rules and regulations); 3.5 hours on fall protection equipment (demonstration of putting on and using the equipment, and a written multiple choice test (minimum acceptable grade is 75%).

The Forklift course covers all applicable regulations (CSA B335-15 requirements included). Discussion and information on stability, pre-shift inspection, rules of the road, propane tank exchange and battery care are covered.

4. Do I need equipment?

No. All required equipment to complete the Working At Heights course is provided. If you bring your own equipment, it must be properly inspected as required.

The Forklift course does not require any equipment.

5. How do I pay for the course?

For all courses, we can receive credit card over the phone. Alternatively, cash, credit card or debit payments can be made in the office.

6. What is the refund/cancellation policy?

If we have to cancel a course no payment will be required and any pre-payment will be refunded. This is a rare occurrence.

If a customer reservation is cancelled by the customer less than 24 hours before the start time of the class full payment will be required and any pre-payment will not be refunded.

Payment will be required and/or no refund will be given if arrival is after the start time of the course on the day of the course.
